Here are a few photos from the uke of the month. This is a all Koa concert with a Macassar Ebony fingerboard, headstock plate and bridge. The binding is Bloodwood. Bloodwood is really becoming a favorite for me. It stands out against almost every wood and doesn’t fade to a brownish red over time as some of the other reddish woods tend to do. Note: It's much more red than it appears in the photos. It is strung with a set of D'Addario Nyltech EJ88C. These are made by Aquila.
